ROLE: CONCEPT, SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY, CREATIVE DIRECTION, ART DIRECTION, PHOTO PRODUCTION, VIDEO PRODUCTION
DELIVERABLE: CAMPAIGN CONCEPT AND STRATEGY, 12 ASSETS INCLUDING STOP MOTION VIDEOS AND STILL PHOTOGRAPHY
DATE: DEC 2019
monopo was commissioned by JIMMY CHOO to create the concept and the assets of their Christmas campaign for the Japanese market.
Our task was to produce an engaging and playful campaign around the theme of gifting.

THE CONCEPT
We decided to create the concept of an advent calendar, the "12 Jimmy Choo surprises before Christmas".
The 12 assets took the form of still photography and stop motion videos to give a playful edge. All assets were accompanied with witty captions to invite the viewer to interact with each asset.
We also decided to develop the storytelling of JIMMY CHOO by giving away "secrets" about the brand, like the fact that Princess Diana was a regular client and despite being a princess, ordered mainly discreet flats.

THE RESULT
We were thrilled to know after the campaign that JIMMY CHOO HQ appreciated it to extend the usage on a global scale (for social paid media, website and as CRM tool). The campaign had the best engagement and conversion rate ever recorded in Japan for a digital communication campaign.
