• FULL-TIME (SENIOR ART DIRECTOR)

  Job Description:
  The role of Art Director at monopo includes leading art direction on projects, overseing internal team members as well as the client to ensure smooth and successful project execution.
  
  
  Job Responsibilities:
  - Work as an art director and designer on small to medium-sized projects
  - Collaborate with designers on large projects and provide appropriate support
  - Act as a mentor for younger members of the creative team and contribute to their overall growth and successes
  - Lead direction for creative proposals including during the sales and production phases
  - Propose creative ideation, reflecting budget and schedule parameters
  - Be well-versed in new technologies, design topics, and other inputs, and proactively update information internally and externally
  
  
  Mandatory Requirements:
  - Experience as a designer/art director in a creative agency or production house or related industry (3-5+ years as a designer)
  - Multiple of the following skills: website design/graphic design/still planning (comps production)/shooting direction & retouching direction/logo design/motion design/3D CG design/package design
  - Ability to lead presentations in Japanese (or English for English speakers)
  - Ability to produce documents/proposals in Japanese (or English for English speakers)
  - Have a love for design
  - Possess communication skills to engage with people regardless of age or values
  - Ambitious and proactive
  - Positive team player
  
  
  Nice-to Haves:
  - Possess a solid network of relationships with other creators in the industry, those who may be called upon as a potential collaborator or partner for projects
  - Dedication to produce high quality design (including mockups, prototyping, reference collection)
  - Ability to multi-task across more than one project at the same time, without sacrificing time nor quality
  - Bilingual (English) or endeavors to be bilingual
  - Native-level Japanese and business-level English. Or native-level English and business-level Japanese.
  - Ability to commute and work at the office (located in Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku)
  - Minimum 3 days a week in office

• FULL-TIME (SENIOR TECHNICAL DIRECTOR)

  Job Description
  - Lead technical direction for client projects.
  - Lead development (in-house and client projects).
  - Drive implementation of various tools.
  
  
  Application Requirements
  - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with development experience in PHP, WordPress, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and various JavaScript frameworks.
  - Ability to propose optimal solutions while staying up-to-date with the latest programming technologies.
  - Passion for creativity and a strong work ethic.
  - Bold and determined mindset.
  - Positive attitude towards challenges and the ability to take action.
  - Ability to expand monopo's business domain and contribute to its growth.
  
  
  Nice to Have
  - Ability to propose concepts that not only materialize ideas but also grow the business and market.
  - Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English, or native-level proficiency in English and business-level proficiency in Japanese.

• PLANNER(INTERN)

  Job Description:
  You will assist with planning-based tasks for client work, as well as in-house monopo projects.
  
  
  Application Requirements
  - Those who are honest and kind

  - Those who are self-starters and take initiative
  - Those who seek solutions to challenges and get things to the finish line
  - Ability to work at least 8 hours a day, at the Tokyo office (Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), minimum of 3 days a week. (Core Working Hours: 12:00-17:00)
  
  
  Nice to Have
  - Ability to output files in Adobe tools such as Photoshop/Illustrator, as well as documents in Keynote and Google slides, etc.
