Chieko's upbringing in an international school instilled in her a passion for fostering global connections and effecting positive change. After starting as a freelance project manager for multinational film productions, she became a producer at Whatever Co. in 2021, working with clients and production teams across the globe. With a deep understanding of the global market and Japanese culture, she excels in localizing and globalizing brands with diverse teams. Making full use of her creative capabilities, she occasionally steps into international projects as a copywriter, helping brands tell their story in both Japanese and English.
While she is convinced that she herself is all blues and no rhythm, she loves Prince, James Brown and Aretha Franklin.
